Sumanadasa Bambarenda (“Sumane”) (Manager-Field Operations)
Sumane plays a vital role in driving the success of our agro-tourism, bee keeping and sustainable farming initiatives. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day agricultural activities, coordinating with farm staff, community and ensuring best practices in crop cultivation and land management, this role bridges operational efficiency with environmental stewardship. With a focus on quality, innovation, and guest experience, he ensures our fields not only thrive but also reflect our commitment to eco-friendly, community-driven growth.

Rohan Peiris (Safeguards Specialist)
Accomplished Environmental and Biodiversity Specialist with over 25 years of experience in ecological research, environmental impact assessments (EIA/IEE), biodiversity surveys, and sustainability management across Sri Lanka. Skilled in fauna and flora assessments, species translocation, and critical habitat studies for large-scale infrastructure, renewable energy, fisheries, and urban development projects funded by ADB, World Bank, USAID, JICA, and national agencies.
Proven expertise as an Environmental, Social, Health & Safety (ESHS) Officer, with success in implementing environmental management plans, occupational safety systems, and community awareness programs. Strong background in stakeholder engagement, CSR initiatives, and promoting ESG and HSE best practices.
Active contributor to national biodiversity conservation through Red List preparation, UNCBD national reporting, and academic publications. Recognized member of the Young Zoologists Association (YZA) and Sri Lanka Sloth Bear Expert Team. Holds a Diploma in Biodiversity Management (University of Colombo) along with professional certifications in environmental safety, gemmology, and applied biodiversity conservation.

Prince Manamperi (Expert-Forestry, Species, Conservation Area Management)
An accredited Analog Forestry expert (affiliated with the International Analog Forestry Network) and conservation area specialist with over 15 years of experience in biodiversity and ecosystem management in Sri Lanka, Prince is the former Wildlife Scientist for the UK DEFRA-funded project on building long-term capacity to combat illegal wildlife trade and has contributed to strengthening conservation frameworks, including OECMs.
He holds a BSc in Natural Sciences and an MSc in Forestry and Environmental Management, and has worked as a consultant environmentalist, shaping infrastructure development projects, documentaries, and scientific publications nationally and internationally. Prince also serves as a Commission Member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) and is widely recognized as one of Sri Lanka’s leading conservationists.
